Contact SAMSHION for Custom Manufacturing Support
Discuss your custom metal or plastic part with a manufacturing team that supports CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, rapid prototyping and controlled low-volume production.
For the most useful review, send the current CAD model or drawing together with material, quantity, finish, critical requirements and project timing. We will identify any missing information and confirm the appropriate next step before manufacturing release.

Send a General Inquiry
Have a design file? Use our Get Quote page to upload STEP, IGES, or SolidWorks files and receive a full quoted price.
What to Include in a Manufacturing Inquiry
A short message can start the discussion, but a quotation becomes more reliable when the technical scope is clear. Include the following information whenever it is available.
Current Design Files
Provide the current 3D model and a controlled 2D drawing where possible. The drawing should identify dimensions, datums, tolerances, threads, surface finish, appearance zones, notes and applicable specifications. If the model and drawing conflict, state which file governs or request clarification before release.
Material and Condition
Identify the required alloy, resin, elastomer or print material, including grade, temper, hardness, filler, color or approved alternative when relevant. Our manufacturing materials guide provides process-specific material context, but the quotation must use the project requirement.
Quantity and Product Stage
State the quantity required now and any expected repeat quantity. Also identify whether the order is for design validation, an appearance model, a functional prototype, pilot production, bridge production or a repeat production batch. The product stage can change the most suitable process and inspection scope.
Critical Features and Tolerances
Mark the characteristics that control fit, sealing, motion, alignment, optical performance, assembly or safety. Avoid applying one tight general tolerance to every feature when only selected interfaces require it. Critical requirements should have a defined datum structure and practical inspection method.
Surface Finish and Appearance
Describe the required finish, color, texture, gloss, grain direction, masking, marking and cosmetic zones. The surface finishing guide explains common options, but the final callout must match the substrate and approved appearance requirement.
Inspection and Documentation
State whether you require a dimensional report, material documentation, certificate of conformance, first-article format, coating record or another project-specific document. Our quality assurance page explains the general approach. Report format, coverage, sampling and traceability should be confirmed before production.
Target Schedule and Delivery Destination
Provide the required delivery date and destination, not only the date production should begin. Material availability, tooling, process complexity, finishing, inspection, packaging and transport all influence the final schedule.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I use the contact form or the quote page?
Use the quote page when you have CAD files, drawings or a defined custom-part request. Use the contact form for general capability questions, factory visits, ongoing project support or help choosing the correct route.
What information is needed for a manufacturing quotation?
Provide the current 3D model and drawing where possible, together with material, quantity, finish, critical tolerances, inspection or documentation requirements, target delivery date and destination.
Can I request an NDA before sending files?
Yes, customers may ask the SAMSHION team to confirm an appropriate nondisclosure agreement before controlled design information is submitted.
Can I arrange a factory visit?
Factory visits should be scheduled in advance. Contact the team with the proposed date, visitor names, company and areas of interest so access and the appropriate personnel can be confirmed.
How will technical questions be handled?
Questions affecting geometry, material, tolerance, finish, inspection or manufacturing route should be confirmed in writing and linked to the current project revision before production release.
Does submitting an inquiry start production?
No. Submission begins the review process. Production starts only after the quotation, scope, technical files and applicable commercial approval are confirmed.
