Automotive Manufacturing FAQ
Do you support PPAP Level 3 submissions?
Yes. We prepare full PPAP Level 3 packages including PSW, dimensional results, material test reports, process flow, control plan, PFMEA, MSA (Gauge R&R), and Cpk capability study. Packages are formatted for OEM gateway submission.
Can you handle both prototype and production volumes?
Yes. We start with rapid prototypes (CNC, 3D print, or vacuum casting), then transition to production tooling (die casting, injection molding, stamping) for volume programs. Full process continuity under one supplier.
What is your die casting tooling lead time?
Aluminum die casting tooling: 6–8 weeks for production tool (P20 steel). 3–4 weeks for rapid soft tool (aluminum) for pre-series evaluation. Secondary CNC machining of castings available in-house within 3–5 days of casting delivery.
Can you machine aluminum die cast parts?
Yes. We offer complete die casting + secondary CNC machining in-house. Castings are machined to print on dedicated fixtures with datum schemes that match the die tooling. Tight bore and thread tolerances achieved consistently.
Do you manufacture EV battery cooling plates?
Yes. We specialize in aluminum battery cooling plates with machined internal channel networks. Plate thicknesses from 10–50mm. Manifold port threading included. Pressure testing to 10 bar available.
What surface treatments do you offer for automotive steel parts?
Zinc plating, zinc-nickel alloy (superior to zinc alone for OEM requirements), e-coat, powder coat, and electroless nickel. Corrosion testing (neutral salt spray per ISO 9227, CASS) coordinated with certified partner labs.
Can you supply parts with OEM-specific packaging?
Yes. We can label, package, and ship parts per OEM requirements including specific bag/box sizes, individual labeling with part number/revision/lot, anti-static packaging for electronic components, and VDA KLT trays.
What is your lead time for CNC prototype automotive parts?
CNC prototype parts: 3–5 days standard / 24–48 hours rush for design review and test purposes. Material availability is the primary constraint — most aluminum and steel grades ship from local stock within 1 day.
